For more than 30 years the European Lawyers’ Union (U.A.E.) has brought together practicing lawyers from across Europe with the primary aim of promoting the professional practice of law, as well as furthering the practice of European Union Law and of the European Convention on Human Rights.

The General Assembly meeting, usually held in the last months of each year, is an important part of the Association’s year, and includes both an institutional component and a conference about a theme of topical interest.

This year the General Assembly will be held in Dublin, Ireland, on 11 and 12 November 2022. We will be hosted by the Irish Center for European Law (ICEL), Ireland’s leading EU law association, based at Trinity College Dublin, where we will hold a conference on THE RULE OF LAW IN THE EUROPEAN UNION.

We are therefore pleased to invite you to the conference and gala dinner on Friday, 11 November, and, if you are a member of the Association, to attend the General Assembly meeting on Saturday, 12 November.
